D E L F T    J U G 

Inspired by my childhood, watching my mother create pottery and collect blue and white ceramics, this Delft jug feels rooted in familiarity.

Carved in 2018 into 50 layers of acrylic paint on a 500 x 700mm board, the work marked a return to the everyday after completing my WILD exhibition of eleven large-scale animal carvings.

Rather than carving the florals in fine detail, I left them in relief, cutting away the negative space to create movement and contrast. An understated, elegant form.

Prints are unframed and shipped in a flat board package or tube (depending on size). It is strongly recommended that the print remain in the packaging until it is ready to be framed. 

Stock: Printed on 310 gsm Textured Cotton Rag paper, using archival giclée inks.
