F O X Y 

With 66 layers of acrylic paint carved on a 1100mm board, Foxy is a detailed portrait celebrating the beauty of the natural world.

Started in February 2018 and completed in June 2022, this piece took an unexpected journey. After years of commissions, travel and other projects, I returned to Foxy with a new approach, adding layers of transparent washes over the carving to bring extra depth and richness to the final piece.

Sometimes, taking a step back allows the work to become something even better than you first imagined.

The original eventually found its home in Minnesota, USA.

Prints are unframed and shipped in a flat board package or tube (depending on size). It is strongly recommended that the print remain in the packaging until it is ready to be framed. 

Stock: Printed on 310 gsm Textured Cotton Rag paper, using archival giclée inks.

Shipping: All prints are made to order in New Zealand using Artist Services by endemicworld, who carefully package and prepare them for shipping. Please allow time for this process.
